4 REASONS SYDNEY FOOD TRUCKS ARE THE ANSWER TO MOBILE FOOD CATERING

Let’s face it.

It’s not easy organising catering for any type of event, whether it’s big or small. We’ve all been there, or know someone who has.

You google search a few options…

And you get stuck.

So many options, so many prices, so much planning to do.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. In fact, we’ll tell you why Sydney food trucks are the answer you’ve been waiting for.

The evolution of food trucks around the world, especially within Sydney, has been nothing short of amazing. These mobile kitchens are advancing by the year, and the interior and exterior looks are becoming increasingly sleeker and sexier. But what matters today is the solution they bring to a common problem. Organising catering for any sort of event can be challenging, especially in venues and locations where there isn’t an immediate kitchen available. This means greater costs and logistics in the overall operations. But Sydney food trucks are our knight in shining armour. They come with everything required to cater any size of event, big or small. Today, we’ll dive into our 4 reasons we believe food trucks are the answer when you require mobile food catering in Sydney.

1.) Mobility: Access to almost anywhere

They’re moving kitchens. That’s the easiest way to put it. They have wheels and can drive to wherever the venue or event is, and this makes all the difference. A lot of the time when you’re organising catering, you also have to think about a kitchen, power, and everything else in between. With Sydney food trucks, everything that’s required is onboard.

Often, people will hold events at ‘blank canvas’ venues. This is a venue where nothing is styled, leaving you to plan for absolutely everything. This might be a corporate activation, a sports presentation, or wedding. Knowing you can rely on this solution saves hours and hours of logistical work you’ll have to do if organising everything from scratch.

2.) It’s something different

How often do you see food trucks at events around town? No seriously, if we exclude big sporting and council events, it’s not often. We look at services like hiring a DJ or photo booth, and they’ve almost become staples. Hiring a Sydney food truck will make you different and allow you to stand out from the crowd. Food is prepared onsite and made very quickly, so guests won’t have to wait for long. And, they get to chose what they want to eat from the menu, instead of receiving food with the traditional menu alteration approach (for example, in a table of 10, food is served with 1 chicken meal, 1 beef meal, 1 chicken meal, 1 beef meal and so on).

Trust us, guests will be raving about the food, and it’ll definitely be one of the highlights of your event.

3.) Access to foods you love

When you’re at a reception hall, or one of Sydney’s many venues, quite often you can be limited for choice. A huge advantage of choosing a Sydney food truck, is that you can bring the foods you love directly to you. Oh boy, does this make the whole planning process a lot more fun!

We have two trucks ourselves, and will often get booked because we can exactly what the customer is desiring to their event. Our food trucks are:

4.) Competitively priced

You’ll be surprised. Hiring mobile food catering services can be quite pricey within Sydney. And hosting your event at a venue can also break the bank at times. But when you hire a Sydney food truck, you can be looking at between $30-$40 per person. When you compare this with prices of some other options, it’s very competitively positioned. Combine this with the above points we’ve discussed, and you’ve got yourself a winner!
