Celebrations we cater

Eid gatherings · Diwali celebrations · Lunar New Year · Community festivals · Multicultural days

Straight up

Street food alongside the celebration.

We will be honest about what we are. We serve our own street food menus, not the traditional dishes tied to the occasion. What we bring is a food truck for a big, mixed crowd, with an all halal snack pack truck, full vegetarian and vegan menus, and choices for different ages.

That makes us a good fit for the community side of the celebration: the hall gathering after prayers, the workplace Diwali lunch, the Lunar New Year festival on the oval, the multicultural day where five communities share one space. Pick your cuisine and we will match it to the crowd.

Built for the crowd

Halal, vegetarian and fast.

All halal snack pack truck

Beef, chicken and falafel snack packs, kebabs cooked over the flame. Everything on the truck is all halal. We are not formally halal certified, and we say so plainly.

Full vegetarian menus

The taco truck and the snack pack truck can both run with no meat at all for events that need a fully vegetarian menu. Vegan pizza and tacos are available on request too.

Festival sized crowds

One truck serves 60 to 600 guests, we add trucks for bigger festivals, and the queue keeps moving at about three orders out every 60 seconds depending on the menu.

Halls, centres and council land

Private property is usually straightforward once safe access and a level spot are confirmed. A festival on a council oval needs approval first, and our trucks are council approved with many NSW councils so we help sort it.

FAQ

Cultural celebration questions, answered.

Do you cater Eid, Diwali and Lunar New Year celebrations?

Yes. Community gatherings, family celebrations and workplace events built around Eid, Diwali, Lunar New Year and other cultural festivals are a natural fit for a food truck: big, mixed crowds, a relaxed format, and food that needs to keep coming. We serve our own street food menus, not traditional festive dishes, and we are upfront about that.

Is your food halal?

Everything on our snack pack truck is all halal. We are not formally halal certified, and we are upfront about that. Snack packs are also gluten free, with gluten free wraps on request, though our trucks handle gluten so we cannot guarantee zero cross contact.

Do you have vegetarian options for a Diwali celebration?

Yes. Falafel snack packs, a vegetarian burger, vegetarian and vegan tacos on soft corn tortillas, and vegan pizza on request. The taco truck and the snack pack truck can both run a fully vegetarian menu for the event. Tell us how many vegetarian guests to plan for and we set it up that way.

Can you cater a large community festival crowd?

Yes. A single truck comfortably serves 60 to 600 guests and we add trucks for bigger festivals. We usually get about three orders out every 60 seconds depending on the menu, so a big crowd keeps moving. For a public festival on council land we help with the approval paperwork.

Can you set up at a community hall, mosque, temple or home?

On private property with a flat, safe spot, yes: a hall car park, a community centre forecourt, a backyard. We are fully self contained with our own power and water. Public spaces like parks, reserves, streets and footpaths need council approval first, and our trucks are council approved with many NSW councils so we help sort it.

What does cultural celebration catering cost?

From $18 per head plus GST, all inclusive, with a minimum of 60 guests. Most celebrations land between $18 and $35 per head plus GST depending on the menu. That covers the staff, the setup, the pack down and our $20M public liability insurance, with a clear GST tax invoice. We quote per event, usually within the hour in business hours.
