Built for public scrutiny

Catering that stands up to public scrutiny.

Public sector events come with a checklist, and we are set up for it. We carry $20M public liability insurance with a certificate of currency on request, our trucks are council approved with many NSW councils, and we run to proper food safety standards. Every booking comes with our ABN and a clear GST tax invoice that goes straight through procurement.

We also hold a Working With Children Check through Service NSW, which matters for citizenship ceremonies, community family days and anything school adjacent. We can provide the common documents public sector teams usually ask for, and we will help you sort the rest rather than leave it sitting on your desk. It also means you can forward our details to a manager, procurement officer or event team and know the food side is properly covered.

For councils

Council events, from ceremonies to festivals.

Councils book us right across the calendar. We turn up, feed the crowd fast, and leave the place exactly as we found it. The menu stays generous and easy, built around crowd favourites with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices, and an all halal snack pack truck.

Citizenship ceremonies

A warm, inclusive feed for new citizens and their families, with halal, vegetarian and gluten free options so everyone is looked after.

Australia Day, NAIDOC & Harmony Week

Community and cultural days where a single truck can feed hundreds without a long queue forming in the heat.

Council festivals & markets

Family fun days, town centre activations and seasonal markets, where you need an insured, documented food truck caterer for a public crowd.

Staff & volunteer days

Thank you lunches for council staff, volunteers and depot crews, fed inside the break and back to work.

For government

Government and department catering.

For state and federal teams, we cater staff days, training sessions, stakeholder forums, community consultations, milestone celebrations and public service events across Sydney. A food truck turns a routine catered lunch into something people actually remember, and it scales from a 60 person team to a few hundred at a department wide day.

We coordinate venue access, whether it is a forecourt, a car park or a courtyard, and we bring our own power and water so we are not relying on the building. You get one point of contact, a clear quote, and a tidy invoice at the end.

No admin headaches

Procurement and approvals, handled.

The part that usually slows public sector catering down is the paperwork. We make it the easy bit. The insurance certificate, food safety details, ABN and a GST tax invoice come as standard, and we can turn around the documents your procurement or risk team needs well ahead of the day. We are also a registered supplier on buy.nsw, the NSW Government procurement platform, so getting us set up and paid is straightforward for government buyers.

Catering on council or public land, like a park, plaza or town square, needs council approval first. Private and council managed sites are usually straightforward. Because our trucks are already council approved with many NSW councils, we can help you sort the approval rather than send you off to chase it alone. There is no metro travel fee. Regional NSW carries a transparent travel component, and interstate is quoted case by case.

Track record

Proven on big public events.

When the crowd is large and the optics matter, experience counts. We have catered for NSW government agencies and local councils, including Local Land Services, and served big public crowds at Vivid, the Formula 1 and Laneway, returning year on year as a vendor at major showground events. Picture a council citizenship ceremony for 300 in a community park: one truck, a steady line that never blows out, halal and vegetarian options for every family, and a clear GST invoice once the booking is confirmed.

Fast, inclusive and properly documented is exactly what a public event needs. See how we handled a big public crowd at the Meatstock showground festival, or read our guide to what to ask a caterer before you book.

FAQ

Public sector questions, answered.

Do you cater government and council events in Sydney?

Yes. We cater across the public sector in Sydney, from council citizenship ceremonies, Australia Day and NAIDOC Week events, community family days and council festivals, through to government staff days, training sessions and stakeholder functions. Food truck catering starts from $18 per head, all inclusive, with a minimum of 60 guests, and one truck comfortably serves 60 to 600.

Are you insured for public events?

Yes. We carry $20M public liability insurance and can supply a certificate of currency on request, which is usually what councils and government risk teams ask for. Send us what your event or venue requires and we will get the documentation across well before the day.

Are your trucks council approved?

Our trucks are council approved with many NSW councils, and where approval is not yet held for a particular site we help arrange it. Private property and council managed venues are usually straightforward. Public land like a park, plaza or footpath needs council approval first, and we will help you sort it rather than leave it with you.

Can you cater on public land like a park or town square?

Often, yes, once the council approval is in place. We cannot simply set up on public land without it, but because we work with many NSW councils we can guide the approval and provide the insurance and food safety paperwork it needs. Tell us the site and we will tell you what is required.

Do you provide a tax invoice and ABN for procurement?

Yes. We operate under ABN 30 609 356 005, we are a registered supplier on buy.nsw, the NSW Government procurement platform, and every booking comes with a clear GST tax invoice that goes straight through procurement. If your finance team needs a purchase order referenced or specific details on the invoice, just let us know.

Can you cover dietary and accessibility needs for a public crowd?

Yes. Public events draw every kind of eater, so we carry vegetarian and vegan options across the fleet, and everything on our snack pack truck is all halal. Snack packs are gluten free and we can do gluten free wraps on request, though our trucks handle gluten so we cannot guarantee zero cross contact. On certification, we are not formally halal certified, and we are upfront about that.

Do you have a Working With Children Check?

Yes. We hold a Working With Children Check through Service NSW, which matters for citizenship ceremonies, community family days, school adjacent events and anywhere children will be present. We are happy to provide the details for your records.

How much does government or council catering cost?

From $18 per head, all inclusive, with a minimum of 60 guests. Most events land between $18 and $35 per head depending on the menu. There is no metro travel fee, regional NSW carries a transparent travel component, and weekends carry a $2,500 plus GST minimum. You get a clear, itemised quote, usually within the hour in business hours.
