What does food truck catering cost per person?
Food truck catering with The Food Hub starts from $18 per head plus GST, all inclusive, with a minimum of 60 guests. Most events land between $18 and $35 per head plus GST depending on the menu.
What the per head price covers
- The food, cooked fresh to order from the truck.
- The serving crew, the setup and the pack down.
- Packaging, napkins and serving gear.
- $20M public liability insurance and a GST tax invoice for your booking.
What moves the price
- The menu. A snack pack or taco menu sits at the lower end, a loaded BBQ or multi course style sits higher.
- The guest count. Bigger events usually land at a lower per head rate.
- The day. Weekend bookings carry a $2,500 plus GST minimum.
- Distance. Travel is free within about an hour and a half's drive of our Lakemba base, and itemised beyond that.
Other formats
- School events run from $15 per head plus GST.
- Canapé style service from the truck is a different job and runs from $60 to $100 or more per head plus GST.
- Breakfast runs on a $2,000 plus GST minimum for two hours rather than a per head rate.
