How fast do you serve?

The Food Hub usually gets about three orders out every 60 seconds depending on the menu. A shorter menu and staggered arrivals help us plan service around your lunch break or event timetable.

Why trucks are quick

  • Everything is cooked to order on the truck, on a flat top, in a fryer, over the flame or in the pizza oven, not reheated from a bain marie.
  • The menu is short and rehearsed, so the crew works in a rhythm.
  • Orders are handed straight out of the hatch, no plating and no table service.

What it means for your event

  • 200 guests are served comfortably over a two hour window.
  • Tell us how long the lunch break is so we can plan the menu, trucks and service waves.
  • For a very tight window, like a 30 minute school break, tell us and we plan the menu for speed.

What slows it down

  • Everyone arriving in the same minute. We can stagger by team or age group if you'd like.
  • Lots of custom orders. A set menu keeps it quick.
