A school fundraiser lives or dies on whether families turn up and stick around. A food truck does both. The smell off the grill pulls people in, the dinner sorts itself so nobody has to rush home to cook, and the whole thing feels like a proper night out rather than a chore. That is school food truck catering working the way it should.
And it is genuinely easy on the committee. We are self-contained, we set up on the grounds, and we leave nothing behind. Pick from five cuisines, from Korean fried chicken to tacos to Belgian frites, and we will shape the menu to your families and your budget.
Most P and C committees are volunteers fitting this around work and family, so we keep it light. You tell us the date, rough numbers and where the truck can park. We turn up 60 to 90 minutes early, set up out of the way, and serve from the time you choose. Families walk up, order, and have hot food in hand inside a minute. We pack down and the grounds look the way we found them.
Picture a typical 150-family fundraiser night on the oval. One truck, one clear quote, one point of contact through the whole booking. If your P and C wants the food to lift funds, we can build in a per-item cut so every order helps the cause. No platters to chase, no parent rostered on the BBQ, no kitchen to clean.
Korean fried chicken, American BBQ, tacos, snack packs and kebabs, and Belgian frites. The kind of food kids and grown-ups both want at a school community night, with pizza and breakfast as added options.
Everything on our snack pack truck is all halal, with kebabs cooked over the flame. Vegetarian and vegan options across the fleet, snack packs are gluten free and gluten free wraps on request.
Built for a school family night where parents, kids and teachers all eat together. One truck feeds the room without anyone queueing past their patience, so the night keeps its energy.
No reheated trays. We cook to order on the grounds, so the food is hot and fresh and the truck itself becomes part of the night rather than a catering afterthought.
For schools we start from $15 per head, all inclusive, with a minimum of 60 guests. That covers setup, on-site staff, all the serving gear and pack-down, with no surprise line items at the end. There is no metro travel fee. Regional NSW has a transparent travel component, and anything interstate we quote case by case.
Approvals are usually simple. A school car park, oval edge or hardstand is private property, so it is straightforward and does not need council sign-off. Our trucks are council approved with many NSW councils, so if your event touches public or council land we help with the paperwork. We carry $20M public liability insurance and supply a certificate of currency, and our team holds a Working With Children Check through Service NSW.
A fundraiser falls flat if the queue snakes across the playground and tired kids start melting down. So we plan the flow with you. We usually serve in under 60 seconds an order, depending on the menu, and we set the truck where families can line up safely without blocking the rest of the night.
A single truck comfortably serves 60 to 600 guests across an evening, which covers the vast majority of school fundraisers on one booking. We only add a second truck when you ask, or for events above about 500. Either way, we map out a run-sheet that fits your timings, so the food keeps moving and your committee can enjoy the night they worked so hard to put on.
Yes, it is one of the things we do most. School fundraisers, P and C family nights and community events all suit a food truck really well. We pull up on the grounds, set up on our own power and water, and serve fast so the queue keeps moving and the night runs on time. Plenty of committees use us as the food drawcard that gets families through the gate in the first place.
For schools we start from $15 per head, all inclusive, with a minimum of 60 guests. The usual range lands a bit higher depending on the menu and the night, and the price covers setup, staff, serving gear and pack-down with no hidden extras. We can also talk through a model where the P and C takes a cut per item sold, so the food helps the fundraiser make money rather than cost it. Tell us your numbers and we will put it in writing.
Absolutely. A P and C family night is right in our wheelhouse. We keep the menu family friendly, the serving fast and the setup tidy, so parents, kids and teachers can all grab something hot without missing the rest of the evening. One point of contact, one clear quote, and we handle the food side so your committee can focus on the rest of the night.
Yes. Our team holds a Working With Children Check through Service NSW, and we are happy to supply the details to your school admin or P and C before the event. We also carry $20M public liability insurance and can send a certificate of currency so the paperwork side is sorted well ahead of the day.
Usually yes. On school grounds, a flat spot with safe access in a car park, on the oval edge or on a hardstand area is all we need. School property is private property, so it is generally straightforward and does not need council sign-off. Our trucks are council approved with many NSW councils, so if any part of your event spills onto public or council land we can help with the approval paperwork.
We can. Every truck carries vegetarian and vegan options, and there are plenty of gluten friendly choices across the fleet. Our snack packs are gluten free, we can do gluten free wraps on request, and everything on our snack pack truck is all halal. Our trucks do handle gluten, so we cannot guarantee zero cross contact, but we are upfront about that and will send an allergen run-sheet so your committee can vet it before the night.

We only add a second truck when you ask, or for events above about 500, so for most school fundraisers one truck does the job nicely.
Quickly. Send us your date, rough guest numbers and where the truck would set up, and we will usually have a clear, all-inclusive quote back to you within the hour. Popular fundraiser dates do book out, so the earlier you get in touch, the easier it is to lock in your preferred truck.
