How long does setup take?

The Food Hub takes about 45 minutes to an hour to set up and arrives an hour before service starts. We park in the agreed spot, prepare the truck, serve at the agreed time and pack down afterwards, leaving the space as we found it.

The Food Hub takes about 45 minutes to an hour to set up and arrives an hour before service starts. We park in the agreed spot, prepare the truck, serve at the agreed time and pack down afterwards, leaving the space as we found it.

On the day

  • The truck arrives about an hour before the first serve.
  • We park, level up, run the generator and bring the cooking gear to temperature.
  • Service opens at the agreed time and runs for the standard two hour window.

What makes it smooth

  • A Google pin of the exact spot, checked before the day, so there's no hunting for a gate.
  • A flat, safe spot with about 2 metres clear on either side and 3.7 metres or more overhead.
  • Someone on site who can open a gate or a boom if there is one.

After service

  • We pack down, take our waste with us and leave nothing behind but a clean patch of car park.
