How long is the service, and can I extend it?

The Food Hub's standard service is two hours from the agreed start time, which comfortably feeds up to around 600 guests from one truck. Longer service is available at $180 per extra hour.

The Food Hub's standard service is two hours from the agreed start time, which comfortably feeds up to around 600 guests from one truck. Longer service is available at $180 per extra hour.

The standard two hours

  • We arrive about an hour before to set up, then serve for two hours.
  • Two hours covers most lunches, parties and shift changes without a queue building.

Going longer

  • Add hours at $180 per hour, agreed in the quote or on the day if the crew is free.
  • Useful for staggered shifts, all day festivals, weddings with a late night second wave, or an open day with a slow trickle of families.

Going shorter

  • A 30 minute school break or a tight shift window is fine. We plan the menu and the number of trucks around your window. The price stays the same, since the crew, setup and pack down are the same either way.
