The Food Hub serves in the rain and the cold unless you want to call the event off, and we've never cancelled on a client across more than 1,500 events. Arrange cover for guests to eat and firm ground for the truck.

The Food Hub serves in the rain and the cold unless you want to call the event off, and we've never cancelled on a client across more than 1,500 events. Arrange cover for guests to eat and firm ground for the truck.

What we do

  • Turn up and serve. The kitchen is inside the truck, so the food is unaffected.
  • Agree a wet weather plan with you up front for fully outdoor events, usually a marquee over the queue and eating area.

What helps

  • Somewhere under cover for guests to eat: a verandah, a shed, a marquee or the office itself.
  • Firm ground for the truck. Soft grass after heavy rain can be a problem, so a bitumen or concrete spot is safer.

If you want to cancel

  • That's your call, and it's the only reason a wet day stops the service. Talk to us as early as you can.
