Built for the build

Food truck catering for building sites and crews.

We cater construction sites across Sydney regularly, so a live site is familiar ground for us. A hard day on the tools deserves a proper feed, not a servo pie eaten standing up. Roll a food truck onto the site and the whole crew gets something hot, fresh and fast, cooked right there. Building site catering done well lifts the mood on a long program, and it is the kind of thing a crew remembers when the next job comes around.

Whether it is a weekly tradie lunch to keep morale up, a safety milestone you want to mark, or a one-off thank you to a hardworking crew, we make crew lunch catering genuinely easy. You give us the site and the headcount. We bring the food, the gear and the staff, and we leave the place as we found it.

On an active site

How service works on a live building site.

A level setup spot

All we need is a stable, level spot with safe clearance, well away from live plant and traffic. Point us at a hardstand, a car park or a fenced compound and we will work in with your site layout.

Access timing that suits you

Tell us your gate times, traffic management and break window and we will plan the run around them. We arrive early, set up out of the way and start serving on the minute you choose.

Self contained, own power and water

Every truck carries its own power and water, so we draw nothing from your site supply or temporary services. No leads across the ground, no competing with the build for power.

Insured and squared away

We carry $20M public liability and can supply a certificate of currency and our food safety details for your site induction paperwork ahead of the day.

Feeds a hungry crew

Menus that suit a fast lunch break.

A crew on the tools wants food that actually fills them up. Our fleet of five trucks covers it: Birdman Korean fried chicken, low and slow American BBQ, Abu all-halal snack packs and kebabs cooked over the flame, Tex-Mex tacos, and Nillas Belgian frites. Pizza and a breakfast option round it out for the early-start days.

It is hearty, it is quick, and there is something for everyone. Snack packs are gluten free, we can do gluten free wraps on request, and there are vegetarian and vegan options across the trucks. Pick a single cuisine for a tight lunch break, or browse the full range of cuisines and we will match it to your crew.

Clear on price

Pricing, minimums and weekend events.

Crew lunch catering starts from $18 per head, all inclusive, with a minimum of 60 guests. Most site days land between $18 and $35 per head depending on the menu, and that price covers the food, the gear, the staff and setup. No nickel-and-diming on travel or service. There is no metro travel fee, regional NSW has a transparent travel component, and interstate is quoted case by case.

On council land or public space, public or council approval is needed first, while private property and fenced sites are straightforward. Our trucks are council approved with many NSW councils and we help with the paperwork. Every job comes with a same-day GST tax invoice for the project budget. If you want to ballpark numbers for different crew sizes, our guide to guest counts is a handy start.

We are happy to work weekends for a slab pour or a handover day. Just flag the date and we will fold it into the quote.

Mark the milestone

A reward the crew remembers.

Picture a topping out day for a 150 strong crew on a Parramatta site. The last beam is in, the program is on track, and instead of the usual sausage sizzle there is a food truck pulled up on the hardstand serving fresh BBQ and loaded fries. The line moves fast, everyone gets a proper feed, and the crew heads back to it in good spirits. That is topping out catering and toolbox talk catering done right: a genuine thank you that does not blow out the schedule.

We know the speed holds up because it is the same service that fed a busy warehouse crew at White Fox without holding up their day, and the same dependable run that keeps a corporate client like Dicker Data coming back over the years. Tradie lunch catering on a site is the same drill: fast, hearty and easy to run.

FAQ

Construction site catering questions, answered.

How much does construction site catering cost in Sydney?

Construction site catering starts from $18 per head, all inclusive, with a minimum of 60 guests. Most site lunches land between $18 and $35 per head depending on the menu and the day, and there is no hidden setup or staffing fee on top. You get an all-in price and a same-day GST tax invoice you can run straight through the project budget.

Can you serve during a short lunch break?

Yes, that is exactly what we are built for. We usually serve in under 60 seconds an order, depending on the menu, so a full crew gets through quickly and nobody loses half their break standing in a queue. Give us your break time and crew size and we will set the run-sheet so the whole site is fed and back to it inside the window.

Can a truck set up on an active building site?

In most cases, yes. We need a level, stable spot with safe clearance, away from live plant and traffic, and a sensible window to get the truck in and out around your access times. We are self contained with our own power and water, so we are not plugged into anything on site. Tell us the site layout and your traffic management setup and we will work in with it.

How many crew can one truck serve?

A single truck comfortably serves 60 to 600 guests across a service block. For most site days one truck is plenty. We add a truck only when you ask, or for events above about 500, so a big topping out day or a multi-trade site is still covered without slowing the line down.

Do you need power or water from site?

No. Every truck is fully self contained with its own power and water on board, so we do not draw anything from your site supply or temporary services. All we need is a safe, level spot to park and serve. That keeps things simple for your site manager and means we are not competing with the build for power.

Can you cater a topping out or project milestone?

Absolutely. Topping out days, slab pours, practical completion and handover lunches are some of our favourite bookings. It is a proper reward for a crew that has put in the hard yards. We turn up, set up on the spot you nominate, and feed everyone fast so the celebration does not blow out the schedule.

Can you serve halal, vegetarian or gluten free options?

Yes. Everything on our snack pack truck is all halal, and every truck carries vegetarian and vegan choices. Snack packs are gluten free, and we can do gluten free wraps on request, though our trucks handle gluten so we cannot guarantee zero cross contact. On the certification question, we are not formally halal certified, and we are upfront about that. Send your crew's requirements through and we will build the menu so everyone eats.

How quickly can we get a quote?

Fast. Send us your site location, crew size and the date and we will usually get a clear, all-inclusive quote back to you within the hour during business hours. If you are juggling a tight program, call us on 0489 922 282 and we will talk it through on the spot.
